Zurich AJF trip

Hi all,

Well, I am on another AJF trip. This time we are going to Zurich and Lausanne Switzerland. You have been part of my list of travelers but if you don't want to get these anymore please just let me know and I'll stop sending them. No hard feelings. I can understand not wanting to get any more mail than necessary.

The exciting news is that Rose is with me for the first time in a long time. And Charlie Hayes and Linda Shostak flew over with us on the great big 777 airplane. It was a bumpy flight for a while but I seem to have slept pretty well.

We are staying right on Zurich Lake at the Ameron which is the hotel chosen by AJF and the room looked nice enough. We had a good dinner in the hotel restaurant. But, we spent the early morning hours finding another hotel. Our room in the Ameron was so hot that we stayed up all night. So now we are on our way to the Park Hyatt.... but first some photos of the hotel we are leaving.

Onward to the Park Hyatt with good air conditioning, we hope.

 This morning I am thinking about swimming in 59-degree water before we pack up to move, but that really sounds a bit too cold to me. Although since I spent the night so hot maybe it would be the perfect cure-all. But really we usually swim in 81-degree water so 59 would be a bit drastic. 

Instead, I am going to stop here so the next blog will be about the beginning activities of the AJF trip and not about our move or other mundane information.
