Yup, I am on my way to Amsterdam for another AJF trip.
I arrived on the same day as the trip started so it was a challenge to stay awake all-day .
We are staying at the De L'Europa Hotel in the old part of Amsterdam. First thing we do at 1 pm is get on a bus and make our way to Ruudt Peter's summer studio. It is a two hour ride which is beautiful and we are met with this former student directing us down the path.
Ah Ruudt it is so good to see you again.
Inside we are enjoying each other's company and then we are given an assignment by Ruudt to pair up with someone to discuss some questions they have proposed. After which we are supposed to write down a word describing the general meaning of what was said by one and the other of the pairings.
Along the wall is this jewelry exhibition mixing professional and student work.
We spent several hours enjoying ourselves and then climbed back on the bus to go back to the hotel.
We had a lovely dinner at the hotel after which I made a fast track back to my hotel room.
