Cape Town 2025 Day #3

Hi,

I am kind of rushed today so there isn't much commentary and I can't show you the whole day in the post, but I will catch up later. In the meantime enjoy.

The entrance- this building is about 200 or 300 years old

Then we went into the downstairs displays. Looking at these carefully you will learn a lot about South African gems and history.

Then we moved on to the Southern Guild, an excellent gallery with 3 good shows. They just opened a branch in LA and do all the major fairs.

The Director

The first show is by Dominique Kinkpé called Double Rhyme- they are all carved wood.

The ends of broom handles- trays of phalluses

That is all I have time for today. There are still some shows we saw at a Modern Art Museum that I will post later. But right now I have to run to catch the bus.

Hugs,
