Hi again,
We are in Amsterdam but have hired a car to take us to Galerie Marzee in Nijmegen which is about an hour plus outside of Amsterdam. Marie-Jose van den Hout is the owner of the gallery and has been in the business for decades. I respect her programs of showing student work and generally promoting jewelry in a variety of clever ways. I also usually like her choices of artists so our tastes are similar. It is always dangerous to find a dealer with similar taste.
Here we are in Nijmegen in the entry to the gallery with Marie-Jose.
The Estonians are having a show here in the downstairs jewel box space and they used the thick plastic like butchers use for the passageways in the meat lockers for their display. How did they come up with that?

A wonderful warm and fuzzy Otto Zunzli

I love the way Marzee displays things. Here is a show by Rudolf Kocéa
Florian Weichsburger M J Tyson

Robert Smit Otto Kunzli Good News from the Islands
That is probably more than enough jewelry for one blog but I could go on and on since Marzee must have more contemporary jewelry in her gallery than anyone on earth.
We left Nijmegen to go to CODA Museum in Apeldoorn. There was a great motorcycle show and a jewelry show called Future Form with Svenja Johns and Beate Eismann- technology and hand work
Dinner was at a wonderful restaurant called Sheepskamel which is an old Dutch word for a pier.

And with that, I wish you a fond farewell for today.
Hugs,
Susan
